The inspection before solution heat treatment is a pre-inspection procedure to check the finished product's surface quality and dimensions according to the technical conditions, die forging drawing and process card after the forging forming process is finished. Specific inspection should pay attention to the following aspects:
(1) the appearance should be free from cracks, no carving ring heat treatment quality address rust, oxide skin and bruise and other defects.
(2)The general drawing of die forgings should indicate the main dimensions, special shape parts, cross-section parts, shape and location of holes.
(3) The size and precision of die forgings to be heat-treated parts should indicate the machining allowance, surface roughness, dimensional accuracy, position accuracy and shape accuracy.
(4) inspectors according to the number of die forgings batch 10%-20% spot check under-pressure, when the batch of spot check forgings in line with the drawing, can enter the inspection process. The forgings which are checked to be qualified before quenching should be stored separately.
(5) Before quenching, check the material shelf of the finished product, 1-2 forgings should be placed for sampling (folding and cracked waste products can not be used for sampling), and should be marked on the forging "sampling" sample, to show the difference.
(6) After the inspection, the number of finished products, the number of repairable waste products, the number of final waste products and the defect code should be accurately filled in the accompanying card, and signed by the inspector.
