Die forging is one of the common parts forming machining methods in the forging process. It is suitable for large batch machining types.The process of die forging is the whole production process that the blank is made into die forging through a series of processing procedures.The die forging process is composed of the following processes:
1.Material preparation: cut according to the size of the forgings required by the forgings.
2.heating process: heating the blank according to the heating temperature required by the deformation process.
3.Forging process: can be divided into blank and die forging two processes (steps).There are many ways of making blank, die forging and die forging.The deformation process is determined according to the type of forging and the selected die forging equipment.

5.inspection procedure: including inter-procedure inspection and final inspection.The inspection between working procedures is generally random inspection.The inspection items include shape and size, surface quality, metallographic structure and mechanical properties, etc. The specific inspection items shall be determined according to the requirements of the forging.
The die forging process usually consists of the following steps:
Material preparation - cutting off bad material - material heating - die forging - all raw edges - etching - cleaning - removing defects - inspection before heat treatment - quenching - correction - aging - erosion cleaning surface - quality inspection of finished products - packaging.
